Guru Maharaj in Ahmedabad (by Visvarupa dasa)

Dear Devotees,
Please accept my humble obeisances at your feet. All glories to Srila Prabhupada! All glories to our most beloved Guru Maharaja

On 28th November Guru Maharaja arrived at Ahmedabad on 10.30 a.m. He immidiately came to my place where the programme was arranged in honour of Chaturatma Prabhu. He started programme with a small kirtan. Then he gave very effective speech on Chaturatma Prabhu's passing away which was followed by glorifications from differant disciples. He was firmed that his beloved disciple Chaturatma Das has gone back home back to Godhead. He gave a short history of Chaturatma Prabhu and he read different blessings from Srila Prabhupada Disciples, who sent e-mails to me.

Then he took his lunch at my place. There was a nice feast offered to him which he enjoyed so much that he told that it was like three days feast for him.

Then he gave darshan at the temple to all the devotees.Then he went for his one hour walk. We arranged a house programme in nearby area in evening time. There were around 150 people attended Guru Maharaja's class.Guru Maharaja spoke on topic - Message of Bhagavad-gita. He gave very eluminating class and distributed Bhagavad-gita.

Next day he appeared in Mangala arati in Sri Sri Radha Govinda altar.Then he gave very important class on SB 11th canto. It was very important lecture for all the devotees with general Vaisnava etiquettes. He also stressed on Bhagavad-gita marathon. He encouraged everybody for book distribution. Then he went for one hour walk and later he gave darshan to all the devotees for three hours. As he was supposed to go to airport directly after visiting his disciples' places from Gandhinagar, he took his luggage with him. Thus, he left for Mumbai from Ahmedabad temple so all the devotees saw him off there only. Many devotees followed him to Gandhinagar programmes including me. He had one small house programme in Gandhinagar before he caught his flight.
